Rajouri, Nov 11: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of creating obstacles in the smooth execution of development projects being carried out by the Omar Abdullah-led government.

Speaking during multiple events in his native area, Nowshera, Choudhary said that the NC government is working tirelessly to bridge the development gap across Jammu and Kashmir, but the BJP is acting as a roadblock and attempting to deprive people of progress.

He alleged that in his home constituency of Nowshera in the Rajouri district, BJP leaders are deliberately stalling various development projects under one pretext or another, and in some cases, even taking such projects to court to delay their execution.
