VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — On this Veterans Day, the City of Virginia Beach came together to honor service members with events designed to remember, reflect, and express gratitude.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War, and across the city, the day was filled with stories of remembrance and gratitude.

Inside the Virginia Beach Convention Center, visitors stopped to see The Moving Wall, a half-size replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C.

The exhibit lists more than 58,000 names of service members who lost their lives during the Vietnam War.
