Three separate proposals would convert single-family homes in Maricopa’s Heritage District into healthcare uses near the city’s only ( for now ) hospital.
The newest filing comes from local dermatologist Dr. Jonathan Lavian, who seeks city approval to convert a single-family home at 45001 W. Honeycutt Ave., directly across from the Church of Celebration, into an aesthetic and medical dermatology clinic for Desert Oasis Dermatology .
Lavian, who opened his practice Sept. 5 and currently shares space with Vitiello Primary Care near Ace Hardware, said he’s already outgrown the shared suite and wants to create a permanent base for dermatology care in the city.
“I’m the first and only board-certified dermatologist providing ongoing patient care in Maricopa,” Lavian wrote in his submitt
