JEFFERSON COUNTY—The cold, blustery wind on Tuesday morning didn’t stop residents of Bolivar and Harpers Ferry from lining the sidewalks to cheer the annual Veteran’s Day parade making its way from the Harpers Ferry Post Office to the middle school. Organized by the Bolivar-Harpers Ferry District Veterans, the parade has become a tradition each year.

Once the parade, led by Sheriff Tom Hansen and Dep. Trey Hockman, made its way to the school participants and guests headed into the auditorium to hear guest speaker Dale Delisle speak about what the day means to him.
