A 20-year-old man was critically injured in a shooting Tuesday afternoon in Baltimore’s Northeast District, police said.
According to Baltimore police, officers responded around 1:31 p.m. to the 2900 block of Rueckert Avenue after receiving reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found the man suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, police said.
Detectives from the Northeast District Shooting Unit are investigating the incident.
