A massive four-alarm fire tore through part of Baltimore’s Hampden neighborhood Monday evening, drawing a large emergency response as firefighters worked to get the blaze under control.
The Baltimore City Fire Department said crews were called to the 3300 block of Keswick Road around 5 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, for reports of a working fire that quickly escalated as flames spread through the area.
Fire officials confirmed the incident had reached four alarms, with dozens of firefighters on scene from multiple companies.
“Crews are working diligently to contain the blaze and ensure the safety of all individuals involved,” BCFD said in a post on X.
Media staging was set up near Harding Place and Keswick Road, officials added.
Residents are being asked to avoid the area while firefighters continue to battle the blaze.
