CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Mayor Aftab Pureval has put his proposal for a 6 p.m. curfew for juveniles around Fountain Square on hold.
Instead, the mayor is shifting the focus to enhancing safety measures in the Short Vine area of Corryville.
Mayor Pureval will ask Cincinnati City Council on Wednesday to consider implementing a curfew along a section of Short Vine near the University of Cincinnati’s main campus.
“The Fountain Square District curfew is on pause specifically so we can focus and prioritize on the Short Vine curfew district,” the mayor said.
