A peek into the rodeo roles at the Prairie Circuit Finals Rodeo
You can smell the rodeo before you see it.
It’s a mixture of dirt, diesel, but mostly a farm smell, chiefly from the several dozen horses and bulls, lazing around, before they work for eight seconds each night.
It’s the Prairie Circuit Finals Rodeo at the Kansas Star Casino in Mulvane Nov. 20-22.
For three days, it’s Wranglers, cowboy hats and boots, and big buckles: all with the goal of winning the title of Prairie Circuit champion.
