Bellevue Mayor Christina Giordani has been fined $350 for two separate election law violations that took place in the run-up to the Nov. 4 election.

Giordani prevailed in the race for Bellevue mayor over challenger and City Councilwoman Suzanne Wrede.

A letter from Blaine County Prosecuting Attorney Matt Fredback to Giordani dated Nov. 5 stated that that he had concluded his investigation and would levy a fine of $350 for two violations of the Idaho Public Integrity in Elections Act, which prohibits the use of public property or resources “to advocate for or against a candidate.”
