POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (WSIL) -- One person is dead and two others seriously injured after a crash in Butler County on Tuesday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the crash happened on November 11, at 3:42 p.m., along US 160 and Highway C, southwest of Poplar Bluff.
State police said a 68-year-old woman from Myrtle, Missouri, was driving a 2014 Honda Civic going south when she ran a stop sign and crashed into a 2012 Ford Fusion going east. Authorities reported the Ford Fusion was driven by a 28-year-old woman from Silva, with a 65-year-old female passenger from Patterson.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol states the 65-year-old Ford Fusion passenger died from her injuries while the drivers of both vehicles were treated at regional hospitals for serious injuries.
