Review at a glance
What does 6pm at a UK festival look like? Chances are, you’re half cut, heading back to the tent to grab a hoodie and whatever you can sneak into the arena via your limited amount of pockets. So far, you’ve exclusively ingested pints and some kind of fried breakfast food or sad Nature Valley bar, inexplicably spending £100 before the sun has even set.
Armed with layers and liquid sustenance, you lock in at the arena and watch bands until the stars come out and/or until you’ve built up enough Dutch courage to ingest whatever’s in the front pocket of your sidebag.
Music goes from guitar sounds to unts unts unts. You crash out until blinding sunlight beating onto your tent makes the inside of your eyes turn bright red. Then you do it all over again.
