Drivers may find themselves sitting still on Interstate 81 in Franklin County today.
The stops will be brief - up to 15 minutes at a time between noon and 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, while blasting activities associated with a residential development happen, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
The stops will be in both directions of Interstate 81 from Exit 17 (Walker Road) to Exit 20 (Route 997/Scotland).
Drivers can check conditions on major roadways in Pennsylvania 24 hours a day at 511PA.com . The site provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,200 traffic cameras. 511PA also is available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 511, or by following PennDOT alert
