OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - A 34-year-old man was killed in a shooting Tuesday night in the Benson area.
Omaha Police told First Alert 6 on Wednesday that they had identified Joshua Perrin as the victim of the shooting near 56th and Hamilton streets .
Police called to the area at about 8:20 p.m. reported finding Perrin there with a gunshot wound. He was taken to Nebraska Medicine and was later pronounced dead.
OPD investigators think robbery was a factor in the shooting, but are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact Omaha Crime Stoppers at 402-444-STOP or submit tips online on the P3 Tips mobile app.
Anonymous tips that lead to an arrest in a homicide investigation are eligible for a $25,000 reward.
