As the weeks in the NFL season turn over, Brock Purdy continues to get closer to his return.
On a conference call with reporters Monday, Kyle Shanahan was asked if he wanted to see Purdy log three full practices with no limitations before the quarterback is placed back in the starting lineup.
“Yes,” Shanahan responded, “...we want to see it, want to hear it from him, want three aggressive practices and want to make sure he feels good after all of them, each day too.”
Purdy has logged limited practices in every session since Week 7. The plan, just as it was last week , is to have Purdy increase his practice intensity with more first-team reps.
“We will continue to progress him, should get more [practice reps] here this week,” Shanahan said on the call.
