LOS ANGELES – A pedestrian was found Tuesday evening in the tunnel between the Westlake/MacArthur Park and 7th Street/Metro Center Metro stations and was determined to be dead.
The pedestrian, whose name was not released, was located by Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters just after 6 p.m. Tuesday, the department’s Jennifer Middleton said.
The fatality will be investigated by law enforcement and the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, according to Middleton.
B Line trains are running every 20 minutes and boarding on the North Hollywood side of the platform between the Westlake/MacArthur Park Station and Union Station due to the investigation, Metro announced.
The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
