Alex Jones confessed that she had to pull over her car because she was "in floods of tears" while listening to Sara Cox discuss her BBC Children in Need challenge.

Radio 2 host Sara has embarked on a demanding 135-mile run to raise funds for the charity. She's undertaking the Great Northern Marathon Challenge across four counties - Northumberland, Durham, North Yorkshire and West Yorkshire. On Wednesday (November 12), she was moved to tears upon learning that she had surpassed the one million pound mark, saying she was "broken".

Later on Wednesday, The One Show presenter Alex admitted that listening to Sara's comments on the radio left her in tears.
