FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Police in Fort Wayne say they arrested a Florida man Thursday afternoon after finding over 65 pounds of cocaine in the back of a pickup truck.
According to a release from the Fort Wayne Police Department , around 1:11 p.m. on Nov. 6, officers with the FWPD Narcotics Division pulled over a black 2019 Chevrolet Silverado for speeding.
During the traffic stop, police say a K-9 indicated there was possibly narcotics in the truck. When police asked the driver, identified as 25-year-old Jordon Wayne Lanier, of Ocklawaha, Florida, to step out of the vehicle, they reportedly saw a .45 caliber handgun in plain view.
