Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown (14) celebrates a touchdown against Washington Commanders during the first half at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Md. on Sunday, November 9, 2025.

Detroit Lions star wideout Amon-Ra St. Brown apologized on Wednesday to anyone whom he might have offended with his Donald Trump-inspired celebration in his team's win over the Washington Commanders.

He discussed the topic on his weekly podcast alongside his brother, Equanimeous St. Brown, broaching the "Trump dance" topic that stoked the flames online and on broadcast since this past weekend.

"I did not mean to offend anyone," he said. "It was just, we're having fun. If any president was at that game and had a dance, I would have done it."

Donald Trump was at the game, watching from a box suite, even going on the Fox broadcast to join the crew in the booth. St. Brown continued to say that he didn't mean any ill will, and there was nothing more to the dance than having a good time.

St. Brown and the Lions will stay in the spotlight as they travel to face the defending champions, the Philadelphia Eagles, this coming Sunday night on Sunday Night Football.
