BROOKLYN — AFTER YEARS OF homelessness and mental health struggles, Brooklyn Navy veteran Robert Pulliam has found stability through The Doe Fund’s Crystal Tower supportive residence building, reports PIX News 11 .
The program provides Pulliam with permanent shelter, counseling and financial support, allowing him to reunite with his family and regain his independence. Now 65, the veteran is preparing to reenter the workforce – and following a passion for cooking.
Additional affordable apartments are currently available through NYC’s Housing Connect program .
