WARRENSBURG, Mo. (KCTV) - Two people died and a third person was injured on Wednesday in what Warrensburg police describe as a domestic incident turned deadly.

At 7:20 a.m. on Nov. 12, the Warrensburg Police Department responded to two calls regarding a domestic disturbance near Mitchell Road and Cedar Drive.

Officers arrived and reported seeing an armed suspect running toward East Hale Lake Road, who then allegedly turned and fired shots at the officers. No shots were fired in return.

In response, a perimeter was established, and the entire Warrensburg School District went into lockdown procedures.
