MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The Memphis Police Department has charged a man who allegedly broke into a local bar after hours, stole cash and liquor, and then set fire to the rear office after he was fired from his security guard position.

Police arrested 44-year-old William Lucas on Tuesday. He is now charged with burglary, misdemeanor property theft, and arson.

According to the arrest affidavit, in the early morning hours of October 14, police responded to an arson call at Reservations Bar & Bistro in Cordova. Fire investigators who were already at the bar told officers that a couch in the rear office was intentionally set ablaze. Two Molotov cocktails were found at the scene.
