ROCKFORD, Ill. — A short film festival is returning to Rockford for its fourth year.
The 815HORTS Film Festival returns this Friday, Nov. 14 and Saturday, Nov. 15. The festival is a production of Plus Seven Company, who partnered with the City of Rockford and Illinois Film Office.
This year's expanded festival line-up is highlighted by five film screening blocks and two separate premieres, adding up to 26 short films.
Other highlights include the Illinois Film Office's Shortcuts Student Film Contest, interactive educational sessions led by Tribeca Festival's shorts programmer, the first feature length film screening in 815HORTS history, and a screening of the Sundance Film Festival Shorts Tour .
