ROCKFORD, Ill. — A local man was arrested after he tried to reenter a fast food restaurant he was banned from.
Just after 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 7, Rockford Police officers were called to the McDonald's in the 3700 block of Auburn Street for a trespassing complaint.
When officers arrived, they found 40-year-old Parnell Fulton of Rockford, who had been banned from that McDonald's location.
An officer tried to speak with Fulton, who then resisted and tried to disarm the officer. After a short struggle, Fulton was arrested and taken to Winnebago County Jail.
Fulton was charged with trespassing, resisting arrest, aggravated battery to police, and attempting to disarm an officer.
Fulton will next be in court on Thursday at 10:05 a.m.
