BRENTWOOD, Tenn. (WSMV) - Police are warning residents about burglars targeting homes in the Brentwood and Belle Meade areas, with authorities believing the suspects may be part of a larger criminal organization.
People in the Witherspoon subdivision say they have been hit multiple times by burglars who park in other neighborhoods and walk through wooded areas to be less noticeable.
The suspects may be connected to a group of men caught breaking into several Brentwood area homes in May. Even though arrests were made, police believe they may be back and targeting more areas.
