WASHINGTON — "Honey, I shrunk the Trader Joe's tote bag."

Cult favorite grocery chain Trader Joe's is launching its newest tote bag, the canvas micro tote, in stores nationwide this week. A Trader Joe's spokesperson said the extra-small tote bags will be available while supplies last.

Trader Joe's micro tote bags come with a foldable grocery bag and retail for $2.99 each. The bags come in red, green and navy, and are reminiscent of the original launch of mini tote bags last year.

At just 4.5 inches by 3.5 inches, the tote bags are just big enough to "carry your keys, some spare change, or a lip balm," Trader Joe's said in the product description . For reference, the mini tote bags are about 13 inches long, 11 inches tall and 6 inches deep.
