Strathcona County is running a workshop called Across the Board, designed for members of boards of non-profit organizations.

The workshop is designed to improve how your board functions by strengthening its governance practices and build connections with other board members asking similar questions.

Topics covered include:

What is good governance?

Clarifying board members and responsibilities

Governance versus operations

Healthy decision-making practices

The session takes place in meeting rooms 1 and 2 at the Community Centre on November 22 from 9 a.m. until noon.
