BARREN COUNTY, Ky. – It is every parent’s dream to make sure their children have their Christmas wishes come true, but for some, that can be very difficult. That is where the Barren County YMCA and Salvation Army are stepping in to help.

An Angel Tree has been set up in the county, where people can help shop and provide gifts for kids in the Barren County area. Hundreds of kids are on the list this year, and Barren County YMCA CEO Tara Bailey says its hard to imagine children struggling during the Christmas season and not receiving the gifts they deserve.
