LANCASTER, N.Y. — Lancaster Police are searching for two individuals accused of taking local philanthropist Russell Salvatore’s powder-blue Bentley for a joyride early Wednesday morning.
According to Salvatore, around 4:30 a.m., two people entered the parking lot of his business and jumped inside his luxury vehicle before driving off.
Fortunately, the car didn’t stay missing for long. An off-duty police officer located the Bentley later that morning near Humboldt Parkway and Goulding Avenue in Buffalo.
Salvatore’s assistant and longtime friend, Danielle Fox, said the discovery came as a huge relief — and praised both the officer and the Western New York community for their support.
