NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A West Nashville Persian restaurant is serving family recipes that span thousands of years of culinary tradition.
Naz Kiani moved to Tennessee from Iran when she was 12 years old and experienced culture shock adjusting to life in America. But at home, she could always rely on the familiar tastes of Persian cuisine.
“Think about 3000 plus. That’s so much history and so much to be proud of,” Kiani said.
That pride motivated her to share Persian food with Nashville through her restaurant Noôsh, which features family recipes from both her own family and her mother-in-law.
“It’s rooted in so much history that I feel like not being able to represent it and introduce it to other people would be such a waste,” Kiani said.
The menu consists entirely of family recipes
