June Squibb is gushing over her friendship with Chris Colfer !

The 96-year-old actress and the 35-year-old actor turned author first met when she guest starred in the season five episode of Glee , “Old Dog, New Trick,” which Chris actually wrote.

Eleven and a half years later, the pair are still good friends, and in a new interview, she dished on their lasting friendship.

“We are heavy duty buddies,” she told Amy Poehler on her Good Hang podcast. “We worked together so closely [on Glee ]… it was a long shoot and I just sort of got to know him and I liked him a lot. So, we started then having dinner together, and he has a great partner, Will Sherrod , who I adore too. It was just great fun.”
