TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Eastbound Interstate 84 will close overnight between the Twin Falls interchange and the Kimberly interchange as crews continue repairing the Vinyard Bridge, according to the Idaho Transportation Department.
The shutdown runs from 8 p.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday, from Exit 173 to Exit 182 with additional nighttime closures possible later in the week or early next week to set bridge supports.
For the detour, eastbound drivers exit at the Twin Falls interchange and use State Highway 25 to rejoin I-84. Motorists on US-93 will not have access to eastbound I-84 and must follow the detour. Westbound traffic is not affected.
Detour signs will be posted at ramp closures, and drivers should expect about 20 minutes of extra travel time.
