A man who breached a restraining order just 24 hours after it was put in place by his ex-partner has been jailed.

Sean Bean, of Sedberg Street, Preston, was sentenced on Monday (November 10) at Preston Crown Court after pleading guilty to stalking and breaching a court order. A restraining order had been made against Bean, 34, on January 23 after causing criminal damage when he kicked the wing mirror of his ex-partner's car.

While driving down Ribbleton Lane in Preston, Lancashire , the following day, he pulled up alongside his ex-partner's car and laughed at her in what she claims was an effort to intimidate her, and what the court deemed to be a 'deliberate act of defiance'.
