A 53-year-old mum has been knocked unconscious amid a fight at a high school in Sydney's south-west.

Police were called to the school on Shuttleworth Avenue at Raby after reports of a brawl about 3pm on Wednesday.

Campbelltown Police Area Command officers were told a fight happened between two students before one of the pupils was assaulted by a parent.

The parent – a 53-year-old woman - fell over at some point during the brawl and was knocked unconscious, a NSW Police spokesperson said.

She was treated by paramedics at the scene and taken to Campbelltown Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

An investigation into the circumstances of the incident was launched, which remained ongoing.
