Three West Plains athletes sign their NLI’s

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) -West Plains seniors Aaniyah Kitchen and Kynzie Ward sign for volleyball, Jaylen Kaps signs for softball.

Jaylen Kaps signed with West Texas A&M Lady Buffs and will play pitcher. Kaps says it takes more than just herself to get to where she is at.

“I’ve learned that it takes a village to do anything. You can’t really do anything without your teammates, the family that you have around you and your friends”, says Kaps.

Kynzie Ward will be playing for Dallas Baptist University as a middle. Ward says that choosing to attend West Plains was the best decision for her and commitment to the next level.

“I made the best choice I’ve ever made” says Ward. “It’s a great program and it’s going to continue to be a great program and the people here are great.”
