CEDAR FALLS(KWWL)--Gladbrook-Reinbeck(11-1) falls short of the 8 Man Title game falling 38-30 to Woodbine(11-0) in the State Football Semifinals. The Rebels led 14-8 in the first quarter after the second of two Trevor Mathern touchdown passes to Treyvon Herron. Woodbine scored 22 unanswered points to take a commanding 30-14 lead in the third quarter.
Gladbrook-Reinbeck rallied to tie the game, Mathern tosses a 25 yard touchdown pass to Hudson Clark to make it 30-22 after a successful two point conversion. And early in the 4th quarter, Treyvon Herron intercepted a pass by Tiger Quarterback Brodyn Prior and returned it 20 yards for a touchdown. A rebel two point conversion ties the game at 30.
