CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa-- The trial of Luke Truesdell, the man accused of killing four people in Linn County in 2024, continues this week. Authorities allege that Truesdell used a metal pipe to beat the victims in a shed.
An investigator from the Linn County Sheriff's Office testified that Truesdell confessed to the hitting the four people and told him the location of the murder weapon.
The trial also included testimony from the owner of the shed where the killings took place and the father of one of the victims. Lon Brown described his interaction with Truesdell that day, saying he appeared dazed and was hard to understand.
