Adah Sharma looks back at the threats and controversies she faced for her serious, issue-based films such as 'The Kerala Story' (2023) and 'Bastar: The Naxal Story' (2024) with a hint of wit. "Half the country wanted to protect me and the other half wanted to kill me and both groups seemed equally committed," she says, and adds: "I feel If it is not bold, bizarre, or slightly dangerous to my career, is it even worth doing?"

Adah's latest theatrical release is 'Tumko Meri Kasam' (2025), and she will soon feature in the legal thriller series, 'Reeta Sanyal Season 2'. Lined up also is an international project and a couple of horror projects – a sequel to her debut film '1920' and the Yami Gautam co-starrer 'Tamasur'.
