The City of Pasadena on Saturday, Nov. 15, will host its seventh-annual Adaptive Sports Festival indoors at Villa Parke Community Center due to the expected inclement weather.
Pasadena is partnering with the Triumph Foundation, an organization that helps children and adults with spinal cord injury/disorder.
“Events like this give people with disabilities a chance to push the limits of their abilities, play games with friends and family on a level playing field, and enhance their quality of life through the benefits of exercise, sports, and fitness,” Triumph Foundation Founder Andrew Skinner said in a statement.
The free event is for individuals of all abilities and offers adaptive sports and fitness activities that include rugby, pickleball, tennis, boccia, boxing, power soccer, fencing
