The NCAA delivered harsh punishments to the Michigan State football program on Wednesday for violations that occurred under former head coach Mel Tucker.

The football program has been placed on probation for three years, and the Spartans were forced to vacate all 14 wins from the past three seasons, ESPN reports .

Per the report, Michigan State had three ineligible players on its roster under Tucker. All three players are no longer with the program, according to ESPN.

Michigan State finished with a 5-7 record in 2022, 4-8 record in 2023 and was 5-7 last year under first-year head coach Jonathan Smith. Again, all 14 of those wins have now been vacated.

As for this season, the Spartans are 3-6 (0-6 in the Big Ten ) and have lost six consecutive games.
