An endangered missing person alert was issued after a 79-year-old man disappeared from his King of Prussia home, police announced on Wednesday, Nov. 12.

William Stead left his residence near North Henderson Road earlier in the evening and did not return, according to a Pennsylvania State Police advisory. Police said he may be at special risk of harm or could be confused.

Stead is believed to be driving a 2016 black Kia Soul with Pennsylvania license plate JXX-9805, investigators said.

He is described as 6 feet tall, weighing 200 pounds, with gray hair and hazel eyes, according to police.

Anyone who sees Stead or his vehicle is urged to call 911 immediately, authorities said.

Information about the investigation can also be reported to the Upper Merion Police Department at 610-265-3232, officials added.
