Alabama nickel defender DaShawn Jones was a new addition to the player availability report released Wednesday. He is listed as probable.

Jones has been Alabama’s primary starter at the husky spot. Against South Carolina, Jones scored on a pick-six. This season, the former Wake Forest transfer has tallied 16 tackles.

Meanwhile, linebacker Qua Russaw, another defensive starter who’s been out since the Vanderbilt game, is listed as questionable. Reserve linebacker Cayden Jones is questionable as well.

Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer said earlier Wednesday the Crimson Tide is “unsure” at this point if Russaw will play Saturday.
