A 22-year-old Queanbeyan man has been given an intensive corrections order after admitting to breaking into a Terara home in the early hours of the morning.
Luke Salafia, 22, of Rolfe Place pleaded guilty to aggravated break and enter of a dwelling in company when he faced Nowra Local Court on Tuesday, November 11.
Magistrate David Williams sentenced Salafia to a 20-month intensive corrections order and ordered him to complete 150 hours of community service.
Mr Williams said Salafia was already serving an intensive corrections order at the time of the offence and had a history of similar matters.
"With your record, every appearance before the court is a risk of a long jail sentence," he said, adding the matter could have "easily" been referred to the district court.
