Neo-Nazi Thomas Sewell has walked out of prison, just two months after a court heard he was too dangerous to live amongst the wider community.
The 32-year-old presented a risk of interfering with witnesses in an ongoing case, a magistrate previously recommended.
However, on Thursday, Supreme Court Justice James Elliott granted Sewell bail with a $20,000 guarantee.
The conditions of his bail require he does not attend the Melbourne CBD or go within 200m of Kings Domain, according to court documents.
Other conditions require Sewell not leave Victoria and attend a northern Melbourne police station regularly.
He is also prohibited from contacting his co-accused or witnesses for the prosecution.
The court was “satisfied that a compelling reason exists that justifies” granting bail, though
