A teenager who stabbed a 70-year-old Queensland grandmother to death at a shopping centre will be sentenced in court, 21 months on from the tragedy.
Vyleen White was killed in an underground carpark of a Redbank Plains shopping centre in Ipswich on February 3 last year.
A teenage boy, who was 16 at the time and cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to Ms White's murder and several other charges in July this year.
The teenager is set to be sentenced in the Supreme Court in Brisbane at 10am AEST on Wednesday.
Ms White's family, including her husband Victor, could be seen arriving at the courthouse ahead of the sentencing hearing on Wednesday.
