An 18-year-old is facing charges in connection with a shooting that claimed the life of a ride-share service driver in Allegheny County last year.

Police said they were called to the 2900 block of Palmgreen Street on May 2, 2024 , just before 10:30 p.m., following reports of shots being fired.

According to a criminal complaint, when officers arrived on the scene, they found Brandon Dean, 39, with multiple gunshot wounds to the head. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
