CLEVELAND, Ohio — The overwhelming emphasis on the “eye test” at the expense of actual head-to-head results had Always College Football host Greg McElroy openly voicing his frustration with what he sees as a dangerous new precedent.

“The committee is constantly talking about the importance of eye test, eye test, eye test, eye test,” McElroy exclaimed during the podcast. “It feels like this committee, even more so than years past, is valuing eye test more so than they are head-to-head results, which is a little uncomfortable if you want me to be completely honest.”
