Oregon State men’s basketball beat North Texas, 66-64, at Gill Coliseum on Wednesday, pulling out a comeback win thanks to an administrative technical foul.
The Mean Green (3-1) called timeout with 1.4 seconds remaining, despite not having any timeouts left. This led to two technical free throws for OSU’s Josiah Lake II, which ended up winning the game.
The Beavers (3-0) finished the game on a 9-0 run. It was OSU’s third straight victory by three points or less to begin the 2025-26 season.
Lake finished with 10 points for the Beavers, eight of which came at the free throw line. Johan Munch had 10 as well, and french duo Isaiah Sy and Keziah Ekissi finished with nine points apiece.
