MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Twin City BMX is hosting the Louisiana State Games this Saturday.

It will be held at the Twin City BMX located behind the Monroe Civic Center.

“It’s going to have a tremendous impact, not only from a hotel standpoint, but restaurants and shopping and convenience stores and all those sort of things,” Scott Bruscato, Discover Monroe-West Monroe Executive Vice President, said. “So it’s just an opportunity to showcase our area from a tourism standpoint, but also from a very unique facility. We have one of the few indoor BMX tracks in the state of Louisiana. In fact, there are only two in the state, and we’re one of those.”
