Stephen Curry scored 22 of his 46 points in the third quarter as the Golden State Warriors erased a 16-point deficit to stun Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs 125-120 on Wednesday.
The Warriors handed the Spurs a first home defeat of the NBA season, snapping their three-game winning streak despite triple-doubles from both Wembanyama and teammate Stephon Castle.
Wembanyama delivered 31 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists and Castle added 23 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.
San Antonio led by as many as 16 in the second quarter, but the Warriors cut the deficit to seven at halftime and seized the lead on a Curry three-pointer with 5:06 remaining in the third quarter.
