YAKIMA, Wash. – Local food banks in the Tri-Cities and Yakima have received substantial donations as the McCurley Hometown Food Drive concluded for the year.

Physical food donations and checks, each valued at more than $60,000, were presented in both locations. This is the outcome of the McCurley Dealership’s annual Hometown Food Drive, which took place during October.

The drive supports food banks in Southeast and Central Washington as well as the Salvation Army of Yakima.

McCurley emphasized that the drive has become a yearly tradition aimed at bringing people together and helping community members provide for their families.
